sore.

well today was quite a day.

it first started off with a really random morning when i decided to go get a chai latte from my local cafe. me being the complete idiot, didn't have breakfast and so i just had a jumbo chai latte on the way to school. yer i almost puked like 3 times on the way. good job... D;

BUT i survived,, only to get freaked out by random people about the geo assignment and so i bullshitted my way into makin a random survey about recycling.... later again to find out that it wasn't really neccessary GAHHHH what a waste. and now ill never get those almost two hours back ==

hmmm not much else happened till lunch when i got bored and went to get some food from the canteen. lol garlic roll win! yes well.. i was in the library.. (who knows why) when i see this apple and skillfully kick it out of there without the librarian seeing and the down the steps when everything screwed over. [ well the thing is.. i always jump down the steps and escape unharmed.] today i guess wasn't my day because i almost broke my ankle jumping down them D:
aaaaaahhhh sooo stupid!!! i cant believe i feel over and twisted my ankle so badly that it swelled up to like.. twice the size in less than a minute. at least i can still kinda walk on it o.o

yes so now im at home, still in pain because it never came across my mind to take panadol or anything like that... too late now lol, and my ankle is bandaged and feels slightly better. woooh fun. i hope ill be able to recover in time for my next game D;

MBD (us) vs. Hurricanes (them)

okayyy havnt posted in a while hav i... now to talk about the usual, the basketball game last thursday. 

these guys.. we lost to them by 30 points or so last time we versed them... but you know.. i wasnt there lol. but this time... GG isnt here.. and we needed to prove we could survive without him.. and he would shove it in our faces if we lost by 50 or so... so we couldnt lose!!!

and... tip off!!! ...but LK loses... well i guess seeing as how they were pretty tall, it wouldve been a miracle if he actually got the ball.. but owell.

ok. we suck. theyve scored 12 points... and we're on none... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!!  IS IT COZ GG ISNT HERE???... we all took a deep breath... one point.. we needed one point to start us off...

2 minutes later.. i dribble the ball up to our half.. i look up to the scoreboard... the score is 14 - 0... i make a quick pass to TC27, and get the pass back... i see J7 open... bounce pass... he gets it.. fakes a guy a foot taller than him, overtakes him.. and a swish... we all jumped, screaming YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

following J7's awsomeness shooting, TC27, wit his smooth handling, gets two layups in like a pro. i follow wit my layup and B11 (i think) gets a shot in. after 10 minutes of intense and hellish bball, the half time buzzer goes and we're down by about 18. 

after discussing what to do and reminding ourselves that if we lose by too much, we would be laughed at by GG, we were half angry by the start of the second half, wanting to get on the court and put some points up on the board. we all said that if we lose by 10, it would be ok. anything more.. and GG would be on about this for a while...

after a minute of running around wit no point movement, LK shoots a three pointer and SWISH. perfect. after the shot got us going, TC27 gets a layup in and we start to even out the points.. still a huge gap...

i get a shot in, surprisingly, as i suck at shooting, and everyone thinks we can still win. after a struggle, C12 gets 2 offensive rebounds (from his own shot) and manages to out rebound all the tall people and pass to TC27. and here comes LK with his 3 pointer again!!! this guy is on a roll!!!

we look at the clock... 5 minutes remaining... and we're down by 16... we can still make it.. as long as we keep things up... after TC27 gets another swift layup in. 3 minutes.. and 14 points.. can we still make it? we all thought...

one minute goes away and the inbound pass is made from their side.. i manage to take a steal, and after winning the one on one with the other team's point guard, i manage to get a fadeaway jumper in from straight on, above my defender. 12 points... 1 minute 30 seconds.

after we successfully defend the hoop, LK gets the rebound and passes to me. i dribble the ball up and pass to TC27 who spins and makes a pass to J7. J7 passes to me who shoots a jumper from midrange, somehow getting a swish... 30 seconds remain and 10 points... we couldnt win now.. but we needed to defend our hoop so we lose exactly by 10.. we put a half court pressure, and we succeed.

so the final score was 42-32 their way, we lose by 10. now GG cant say anythin about our game. XD for me, it was an awsome game!!! for a guy who only does layups in, i got 3 swishes and i was proud of them! XD 

MVP goes to... this is a hard one... but i hav to giv it to TC27 for his layups.. as without them.. our game wouldnt hav happened. *nod nod* good job TC27! keep up the good skillz!

annd thats all for tonight! next week.. we're versing one of the strongest teams in our div... this aint gunna be good... i guess we'll see what happens this thursday...! ;)

MBD (us) vs. Spartans (them)

alright, thursday was one hectic game...

our team versed this team before... as a different team ages ago... i think... and we lost to them by 30 points last time... yes sad...

we start the game off, all good. TC27 does his thing and gets a layup in. good shit. we're all doing the right thing, no mistakes.

after 5 mins, we're doing alright, losing by 3 and not tired. (i was wearing skins, and tryin em out for todays carnival so i was hyped) surprisingly i stayed on the full first half... but i didnt mark mr.quick guy no.7 because i thought he was too good...

GG's gettin his shots in, and LK does crazy put spins followed by a floater... sweet stuff right there...

so basically, we're down by 3 or somethin at the end of the first half and we go in for a team huddle. coach.. or ex coach for that matter.. (shes too lazy to come to our games... and she only came this time to get LK there) tells us to pressure up on no.7 and go full on, on defense. ofcourse, i would be the one marking no.7... but i didnt... coz i was on the bench... why you say? well i dont kno lol.

second half starts.... ok somethings wrong, we arent getting any points in... they get 8 points, and we get none... 13 minutes remain... i get on the court and mark no.7 like i was supposed to and stopped him. their point streak stops. 

then this is where the big man B11 comes in... he drives in as fast as he can run (0.1km/hr... jks jks lol) and tackles into the defence center. he couldve been a pussy and passed out.. but he stood his ground like a man, jumped, and did a windmil layup, succeeding. EVERYONE (like literallly, even the other team) was like WHAT THE HELL!!!! and ofcourse, our team was jumping like crazy. i hav to say... well done XD

2 minutes after this, our crazy man C12 goes on a fast break... and does the craziest layup in the whole damn world... they dont even do that in the NBA lol. he drives, puts one feet down, puts the other feet down, about to go for a jump... but doesnt... and lifts his left leg up... sways around for 2 seconds... and gets the ball in the ring with defense on him...everyone had theyre mouths open going.. WHAT!?!?!?!... and yes. i was going.. GYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA XP

ok now we're down by 9... we're still ok.. we hav 3 minutes left...

and whats this? GG takes a 3 pointer annnnnnnnd SWISH!!!! THREEE POINTERRRR SWISHHHHHHHH.everyones crazy! 6 points!!! we all thought we can do it!!! we can WIN this!!!

now we're going all out... its their offense... but we only hav 1 minute and 40 seconds remaining... we keep fouling them so they get the shots.. (after their shots, its our throw in) luckily, they only get in one... so we're down by 7... kevy throws the ball in, brian takes it up, passes it to me, and i take the 3 pointer... and like a miracle, SWISH! 

the other team is going crazy... 4 points difference and 1 minute remaining... they still had a chance of losing and we always had a chance to win...

...

the game lasted for 5 minutes after that... and after one more free throw by them... we lost by 5... i guess it was a dirty match in a way since we kept fouling.. but that just meant we werent giving up :)

ok so the final score was 36-31 their way... and yes i have to say it wasnt such a good game personally... but it was still fun! XD

MVP goes to... hmm this is a tough one... B11 or C12... u know what... a joint MVP, all for their crazy layups! YAY~! lol. good job you guys! :D

annd thats all for tonight! next week, we're versing a team we got pwnd by a while ago... so its revenge!!! lol. i guess we'll see what happens next game! ;)
